Pastor – Dennis Morris
I was born in Houston, TX. God has been working in my life for as long as I can remember. His hand has been with me and brought me to the place I needed for salvation. I was saved in 2005. God gave me life. God gave me a passion to reach people. God gave me a hunger to see souls saved and discipled. I went to seminary at the BMAA Seminary in Jacksonville, TX and received my BAR in 2011 as well as my MAR in 2014. I was a youth pastor at New Hope Baptist, St. Elmo, TX for 4 years and then I became a full-time pastor in Grand Saline, TX at Sand Flat Baptist Church for 4 years. I was called to Davis Street in 2016. Sulphur Springs is my home. I belong here. I am excited with what God is doing at Davis Street and in Sulphur Springs. TX. My hope for Davis Street is simple. I want to see our church yearning for Jesus. I want to see us being the hands of Jesus. I want to see us being the voice of Jesus. I want to see us being the eyes of Jesus. I want to see us being the feet of Jesus. I want to see us being the ears of Jesus. We exist to help people become fully devoted followers of Christ. It’s that simple.

Worship Minister – Gillan Boyer

I was born and raised in Sulphur Springs, TX and God began to use me from a young age to serve His church through music and worship. I am currently an Undergraduate student at Dallas Baptist University earning a degree in Music Education as well as an emphasis in Worship Leadership. Davis Street has a very special place in my heart, and I love the people of this church. My hope for our church family is that we would become a group of people who love to be in the presence of the Lord together. Following Jesus is a journey, and we need each other every step of the way!

Davis Street is so thankful for all the ways that Jeannie contributes to the life of our church family!
